Full description
Chanterelle (Lactarius deliciosus)
A mushroom of the genus Lactarius (Latin: Lactarius) in the family Russulaceae (Latin: Russulaceae). A good edible mushroom.
Cap 4–12 cm in diameter, initially convex, then flattening and becoming funnel-shaped, with inrolled edges that later straighten, sometimes with a small bump in the center, smooth, shiny, sticky in damp weather, orange in color with darker concentric rings and spots.

Growing mushrooms in a home garden.
Set aside a shaded area of 2.5–3 m² for the mushrooms, dig a small pit 30 cm deep, and fill it with a nutrient mixture.
Layer I (laid on the bottom of the pit) – fallen leaves, grass, sawdust, or tree bark (10 cm).
Layer II – manure compost or soil collected from under trees (10 cm).
Then spread the grain mycelium evenly over the entire area.
Third layer – plant debris again, as in the first layer, but only 3 cm thick.
Layer IV – garden soil (3–5 cm).
After sowing, water using a drip method. In dry weather or high temperatures, water as needed both before mushrooms appear and during their growth.

The first mushrooms will appear in 1.5–2 months, and then every 1–1.5 weeks. In open ground, they grow from May until late fall. The mycelium can live up to 5 years.

Indoors, you can try growing mushrooms using the same method as for button mushrooms, but the results will be significantly worse than in an open field; the germination rate also decreases,

Mushrooms grow at temperatures ranging from 5 to 30 °C, with an optimal range of 12 to 26 °C. Mushrooms do not have a growing season, so they can be grown at any time of year.

Attention!
Soil acidity is a very important factor for successful mushroom cultivation. For chanterelles, the optimal pH is 5–5.5 (slightly acidic soil). Soil that is more acidic (lower pH) must be deacidified by watering with a solution of quicklime (100 g of lime per 5 L of water per 1 m²).
Amateur mushroom cultivation does not guarantee results, as the mushroom harvest depends heavily on weather and many other factors. Nevertheless, with practice, sufficient experience, and a fair amount of diligence, you can expect decent results.

The mycelium has a shelf life of 6–7 years. Store in a dry place.
The production date is printed on the package.
