The final element of the drip irrigation system is the drip tape. The drip tape consists of thin-walled hollow tubes with built-in emitters spaced 10–30 cm apart along the entire length of the tape. The light-stabilizing additives used in the tape not only protect it from ultraviolet radiation but also make it resistant to chemical exposure from pesticides and various fertilizers used in the plant growing process, thereby extending its service life.
