Sweet Necklace Corn
An early-maturing variety with a growing season from emergence to technical maturity of 77–79 days. Plant height: 160–185 cm. The variety is drought-tolerant. The ear is medium-sized, cylindrical, 18–19.6 cm long, and 4.1–4.4 cm in diameter. The kernels are short, wide, yellow, and sweet. The lower ear is attached to the stalk at a height of 35–40 cm. The taste of boiled and canned products is good. The kernels are a valuable dietary product, rich in vitamins, carbohydrates, and proteins.Recommended for use fresh, boiled, and canned. To extend the harvest period for fresh ears, corn should be sown 3–4 times at 10–15-day intervals.
The plants require watering, weeding, loosening the soil, and fertilization.
