Detroit Beet - an early-maturing variety, with a period from germination to maturity of 80-105 days. The root is round, smooth, red, with a thin and very short taproot. The flesh is dark red, without rings, and has an excellent flavor. Root weight: 111–212 g. It is distinguished by high yield, cold tolerance, and uniformity of fruit. The variety is resistant to bolting. Used in cooking and for processing. Yield: 3.7–6.9 kg/m².
