The wireworm won’t get through!
The wireworm (the larva of the click beetle) is one of the most elusive enemies of potatoes. It gnaws tunnels in the tubers. Once damaged, they store poorly and are more susceptible to fungal and bacterial diseases. Plus, peeling such potatoes leaves a lot of waste.
Getting rid of wireworms is no easy task. The adult beetle has a hard, durable exoskeleton, and the wireworm larva can move through the soil at considerable depths, remaining out of reach to humans. The larvae damage more than just potatoes. Plant seeds, roots, bulbs, and flower tubers are all favorite treats for this pest.

Placing Provotox granules in each planting hole a few centimeters away from the tubers will protect your potatoes throughout the entire period when these larvae are active. Provotox spreads evenly in the soil and provides long-lasting protection. It is non-toxic to beneficial soil organisms.

Just a few granules per hole when planting potatoes—and you won’t see wireworms from spring to fall!

Provotox must be applied according to the instructions (see Application Guidelines).

Granules must be applied in the morning (before 10:00 a.m.) or in the evening (after 6:00 p.m.) in calm weather at temperatures not exceeding 25°C.
