Purpose:
a selective post-emergence herbicide designed to control annual and perennial grass weeds in many agricultural crops.
Active ingredient: haloxyfop-P-ethyl, 125 g/L.
Formulation: emulsifiable concentrate.
Characteristics of the active ingredient: 2-(4-aryloxyphenoxy)propionic acid derivatives.
Spectrum of herbicidal activity:
annual grasses – foxtail, bluegrass, common oatgrass, barnyard grass, canary grass, blue bristlegrass, green bristlegrass, bloodgrass, wild oats, wild ryegrass, annual bluegrass, volunteer cereals;
perennial grasses – creeping wheatgrass, fingered pigweed, gumweed, white bentgrass, common bluegrass, branched bluegrass, common reed.
Miura is not effective against dicotyledonous weeds.
Mode of action:
It has systemic activity. Miura is very rapidly absorbed by the leaves and other above-ground parts of weeds and transported to the growth points of shoots and rhizomes. The product disrupts lipid synthesis, leading to plant death.
The herbicide affects only weeds present in the crop at the time of application. It does not penetrate the soil and has no effect on weeds that emerge after spraying.
Onset of action:
The first symptoms of weed suppression appear 7–10 days after spraying in the form of yellowing of the shoot tips. Complete weed death occurs 1–3 weeks after treatment (depending on the weed species and weather conditions).
Residual efficacy period:
When crop cultivation practices are followed, the product provides protection against annual grass weeds from the time of application until the end of the growing season. The product’s efficacy may be reduced if precipitation occurs within two hours after application.
Phytotoxicity, crop tolerance:
When application guidelines are followed, it is not phytotoxic to dicotyledonous crops.
Potential for resistance development:
No cases of resistance to the herbicide have been reported. To prevent resistance development, it is recommended to rotate the use of this product with herbicides from other chemical classes.
Application notes:
The best results are achieved by spraying actively growing weeds. It is important that they have enough leaves for rapid absorption of the active ingredient. It is not recommended to treat crops with the herbicide if they are under stress due to frost, wind, insect damage, nutrient deficiency, or previously applied herbicides. Miura must be used according to the instructions (see the Application Guidelines tab). As with any other herbicide, the working solution is prepared by first diluting the concentrate in a small amount of water (up to 1 liter), and then adding water to the required volume. The working solution cannot be stored; that is, it must be used immediately. Spraying is carried out on the leaves and stems in calm weather, preferably in the morning (before 10:00 a.m.) and in the evening (after 6:00 p.m.).

Miura is a post-emergence systemic selective herbicide against annual and perennial grass weeds. It is used on potatoes, onions, and cabbage, acting selectively without damaging crops.
It is rapidly absorbed by the leaves and above-ground parts of weeds, transported to the growth points of shoots and rhizomes, and promotes the rapid death of weeds. The effect of the product is noticeable within 7–10 days of application, manifested as stunted growth and yellowing of shoot tips. Complete death of the unwanted vegetation occurs 1–3 weeks after application, depending on the weed species and weather conditions.
Miura must be used according to the instructions (see the Application Regulations tab). As with any other herbicide, the working solution is prepared by first diluting the concentrate in a small amount of water (up to 1 liter) and then adding water to the required volume.
