Zhukoyed 10 ml - an insecticide for protecting potatoes from the Colorado potato beetle in home gardens.
Active ingredients: 125 g/L alpha-cypermethrin + 100 g/L imidacloprid + 50 g/L clothianidin
Formulation: suspension concentrate.
The product is based on three active ingredients, each of which acts in its own way:
Alpha-cypermethrin – a potent contact insecticide. After spraying, pests stop feeding within an hour and die quickly.
Imidacloprid – a systemic agent that is rapidly absorbed by the leaves and evenly distributed throughout the potato plant. Even a healthy Colorado potato beetle will be unable to harm such a plant. The substance also enhances the potato’s resistance to adverse environmental factors and helps increase yield.
Clothianidin – a substance that slowly penetrates all plant tissues. It provides long-lasting protection for potato plants. This principle allows for a comprehensive approach to potato protection, not only harming the pest but also directly protecting the plant. Even hidden Colorado potato beetles located on the undersides of leaves die very quickly. Potatoes need to be treated with the “Zhukoyed” product just once (during the growing season) for protection to last the entire season. High or low temperatures, high or low humidity—none of these factors affect the product’s effectiveness.
Instructions for Use
Use the "Zhukoyed" product strictly according to the instructions: Dilute the concentrated product (the amount required for treatment) at a ratio of 2 ml per 10 liters of water. The resulting solution should be used immediately; it cannot be stored. Treatment should be carried out by spraying the solution onto the stems and leaves.
The best times for this are in the morning before 10:00 a.m. and in the evening after 6:00 p.m. The application rate is 3 L per 100 m². After treatment, a certain amount of time must elapse before harvesting—at least 3 weeks.
Precautions: Ensure that children and pets are not nearby during treatment. Wear protective clothing. Required: rubber boots, a respirator, and rubber gloves. Take a thorough shower after finishing the treatment.
Store the product in a cool place out of reach of children and pets. Do not eat, drink water or other beverages, or take breaks during application. Prepare solutions of the product in non-food-grade technical containers. Avoid mixing "Zhukoyed" with other pesticides. Shelf life: 2 years.
