The Voliam Flexi insecticide controls virtually all insect pests of potatoes and vegetable crops, trees, and shrubs. It is effective against Lepidoptera (caterpillars), Coleoptera (beetles and larvae), Diptera, and sucking insects (aphids, leafhoppers, stink bugs, etc.).
It can be applied by spraying plants or to the soil: when planting potatoes, through irrigation systems, including drip irrigation. When applied to the soil, the product exhibits systemic properties, protecting the plant from both soil-dwelling and above-ground pests.
Mode of action
Once the insecticide enters the insects’ bodies, it acts on their digestive organs within the first 20 minutes, blocking the nervous system, which ultimately leads to the pests’ paralysis and then their death. Although feeding ceases immediately, the death of the insects, depending on their species, occurs within 4 days; however, during this period, the plant is no longer exposed to the harmful effects of the insects.
