Full description

Walter, 25 g  - a combined systemic and contact fungicide for protecting vegetable (tomatoes) and industrial (potatoes) crops against a complex of diseases: late blight, Alternaria leaf spot, and Peronosporaceae. Metalaxyl, which is part of the formulation, is rapidly absorbed and distributed within the plant, inhibiting the spread of disease and protecting new growth from infection, while mancozeb creates a protective film on the plant’s surface that prevents the penetration of spores and the germination of new fungal conidia.

The presence of two active ingredients in the formulation provides both protective and curative effects. Mancozeb is a contact fungicide with protective action; it creates a protective layer on the plant surface, blocks cellular metabolism and sporulation, and stops the spread of infection. Metalaxyl is a systemic fungicide with long-lasting action; it is rapidly absorbed and transported within the plant, protecting new stems and leaves, and destroying the pathogen after it has penetrated the plant. The product’s initial activity against diseases is evident as early as 30 minutes after application; the protective effect lasts up to 7–10 days from the time of application.

Recommended for use in tank mixes with the product “Inspector” for control of insect pests.

Active ingredient: Mancozeb – 640 g/kg; Metalaxyl – 80 g/kg

Recommendations for use:

CROP DISEASES APPLICATION RATES
Potatoes, tomatoes Late blight, Alternaria, downy mildew 25 g per 5 L of water per 100 m²

Spray plants before the disease begins to spread. Treatment after plants are infected reduces the protective effect. Do not apply more than three treatments with Walter, ZP per season. If necessary, perform subsequent sprayings with a fungicide having a different mode of action after 7–10 days. Perform the final spraying before the cessation of active stem growth, i.e., immediately after the end of flowering in potatoes and tomatoes.

Pre-harvest interval – 14 days.

Waiting period before people may enter treated areas for manual/mechanized work (days) – 7/3.
