Tour 100 ml

Full description
Tur (chloromequat chloride) 100 ml - a highly effective biologically active chemical preparation, a growth regulator and retardant that inhibits the elongation of vegetative shoot mass; its mechanism of action is based on inhibiting cell growth processes through stretching. It is the antagonist of the phytohormone gibberellin. The product has the ability to inhibit excessive plant growth while increasing fruit set. It is used on tomatoes, cucumbers, grapes, strawberries, and fruit trees. It is used to prevent undesirable plant growth and inhibits the growth of strawberry runners. Prevents the stretching of flower and vegetable seedlings, including tomatoes and cucumbers, under low-light conditions. It can also be used on woody plants, provided there is a one-year break after application.

A concentrated 60% aqueous solution, it is a thick, yellowish liquid with an unpleasant odor.

Properties and benefits of the product:
  • Accelerates the onset of flowering.
  • Promotes the accumulation of vitamin C.
  • In plants treated with Tur, in addition to a reduction in shoot length, the number of fruits increases.
  • The product increases plant resistance to various diseases.
  • Tur can be mixed with Bordeaux mixture and its substitutes (polychlor, copper oxychloride, polycarbazine).
Application:
Applying Tur to strawberries increases the number of flower clusters, shortens and thickens the fruit stalk, and reduces the number of runners. The optimal time to treat strawberries is before the mass growth of runners begins.

Tura is applied to cucumbers before flowering; growth is reduced, and lateral shoots increase. Yield increase is 30–40%, and susceptibility to powdery mildew is reduced by 3–4 times.

Applying Tur to fruit trees increases yield and fruit quantity, especially in the second year after treatment (double the yield).

A lawn treated with Tura does not require mowing, as it inhibits heading and promotes tillering in grasses.

The use of Tura in vineyards reduces the need for pruning.
When treating vineyards, use with caution on seedless varieties with functional female flowers.

Do not treat grapevines with Tur for more than two consecutive years. It is best to avoid treatment in the second year. Then take a break for 1–2 years; treatment can be resumed thereafter.

At the recommended doses, it is harmless to bees and humans.
