Full description

“TOTAL K”, 100 ml

A systemic, broad-spectrum herbicide for controlling a wide range of annual and perennial weeds on agricultural and non-agricultural lands. A desiccant for legumes and sunflowers.

Active ingredient: potassium salt of glyphosate, 625 g/L.

Formulation: soluble concentrate (SC)

Speed of action:
The first signs of herbicidal action appear on the 2nd–3rd day in the form of yellowing and browning of the plants. Complete death is observed 7–14 days after treatment, depending on the species composition of the weeds and the application rate of the product.

Mode of action:
When the active ingredient comes into contact with the vegetative green parts of weeds (leaves, stems), loosens the intercellular connections, allowing the product to be absorbed by the parenchyma and subsequently transported throughout all organs, inhibiting the synthesis of amino acids necessary for the growth and vital functions of weeds, which leads to complete death, including that of the root system. Total K is applied only to actively growing weeds and has no effect on plants that emerge after the herbicide has been applied.

Properties and advantages:
  • A highly effective broad-spectrum (non-selective) herbicide.
  • Thanks to its unique penetration mechanism, it accelerates the rate of action, reducing the impact of temperature conditions during application. It is adapted to a wider temperature range, thereby expanding the biologically sound time frame for herbicide application.
  • Rainfall 30 minutes after application does not reduce efficacy.
  • Application during the period of intensive weed growth allows for the complete elimination of all stubborn perennial weeds, including creeping wheatgrass, pink thistle, field bindweed, and others.
  • Total K is recommended for controlling many hydrophytic weeds (sedges, cattails, etc.)
  • The product has no restrictions on crop rotation. Any crops can be planted after Total K.
  • It can be used as a desiccant before harvest, which improves grain quality by reducing moisture content and weed infestation in crops.
  • The use of Total K in fallow, autumn, and minimum tillage systems reduces the costs of mechanical loosening, allows for a reduction in the number of tillage operations, and thereby reduces soil erosion and improves soil moisture retention. Thanks to its unique chemical nature, it surpasses all known herbicides of other classes in terms of its spectrum of activity.

PLEASE NOTE:

Total K has no soil activity. Weed control in mini-till and no-till systems during the pre-emergence period can be achieved using a broad-spectrum herbicide. A prerequisite for safe use is application exclusively in the pre-emergence stage (no later than 2–3 days before crop emergence). Application during the pre-emergence period is also not recommended if there is a likelihood of heavy rainfall, due to the risk of the product being washed into undesirable (seed-containing) soil layers.

APPLICATION:

*Global usage practices

Avoid contact with the leaves and shoots of cultivated plants

The working solution must be prepared immediately before spraying; the product loses its properties during storage.

A highly effective broad-spectrum herbicide for controlling a wide range of annual and perennial weeds on: agricultural land (areas designated for planting potatoes, vegetables, grains, alfalfa, rapeseed, corn, perennial grasses, and fallow land), orchards, vineyards, and non-agricultural land (roadside verges, railroad embankments), open drainage and irrigation networks and their verges. Total K is recommended for controlling many hydrophytic weeds (sedges, cattails, etc.) and as a desiccant for legumes and sunflowers.

Speed of action: The first signs of herbicidal action appear on the 2nd–3rd day in the form of yellowing of the plants. Complete death is observed 4–7 days after treatment, depending on the species composition of the weeds and the application rate of the product.
