Peat pot, 80x80 mm cup

Quantity
Full description

Peat pot, 80x80 mm cup—for growing seedlings in gardening and vegetable farming. Ensures minimal labor and the most favorable environment for germination.

Specifications: dimensions: D=80 mm, H=80 mm, V=200 ml, walls made of a peat-cardboard mixture (70% peat + 30% food-grade cardboard) with added chalk. The pot wall thickness is 1–1.5 mm.

Advantages:

- Possesses sufficient mechanical strength, both when dry and when moist.
- The porosity of the walls ensures optimal moisture and air exchange, and when planted in the ground, the plant’s roots grow freely through the bottom and walls.
- Contains no pathogens or toxic substances.
- Planting seedlings in the ground along with the pot ensures nearly 100% survival rate. Made from materials that decompose well in the soil, the pot turns into fertilizer. We get a harvest 2–3 weeks earlier and 20–30% higher, thanks to the seedlings’ rapid establishment.

Usage:

Fill the pots with moist, nutrient-rich soil and gently tamp it down. Then sow seeds, plant bulbs, sprouts, or cuttings. Place the pots on trays, plastic film, sand, gravel, or a layer of soil.

Water the growing plants, keeping the soil moist. Peat pots must never dry out! This is because the salts in the soil crystallize and, in concentrated form, pose a danger to delicate sprouts.

As the plants grow, space the pots further apart to increase light and airflow and to prevent the roots of neighboring plants from becoming entangled. Plant the grown seedlings or cuttings in their permanent location in the ground along with the pots.
