Tempo 3 g against whiteflies and aphids

Full description

"Tempo" insecticide for whiteflies and aphids

Flonicamid is an active ingredient in the pyridinecarboxamide class (IRAC Group 29). The active ingredient stops the insects from feeding immediately after application (15–20 minutes after entering the insect’s body). As a result, the insect dies of starvation without any neurotoxic symptoms 1 or several days after treatment, depending on the species and age of the insect. Tempo causes a rapid cessation of feeding, directly reducing crop damage by the pest even when the insect may still be alive.

Powerful systemic and translaminar action: the product works excellently at both very high (up to +40°C) and low temperatures; rain within 3 hours after application also does not reduce the product’s effectiveness.

The product is well-tolerated by the crop and has a powerful contact and stomach action against rapidly reproducing target pests.

A unique mode of action (flonicamid, which belongs to neither the pyrethroid nor the neonicotinoid classes) ensures guaranteed results in controlling all populations of whiteflies and aphids, including those resistant to pyrethroid insecticides

Tempo is extremely environmentally friendly and has low toxicity to mammals, beneficial insects, and bees when used according to label instructions.

A low-toxicity insecticide for controlling homopteran (sucking) pests on crops

Formulation: water-dispersible granules
Active ingredient: flonicamid, 500 g/kg
Chemical class: pyridinecarboxamides

WHO classification: Class III (moderately toxic)

Apple tree: aphids, including the apple-plantain aphid and the green apple aphid.

Cabbage, tomatoes (open-field/greenhouse), onions: whitefly, aphids, thrips.

Roses, orchids, and ornamental plants: aphids, scale insects.

To achieve maximum results, two consecutive treatments should be carried out at 10–12-day intervals. It is best to apply Tempo during the early stages of crop development, when pest populations are still low. Tempo can be used in tank mixes with other plant protection products; however, a compatibility test should be conducted in each individual case.

Maximum number of applications – 3.

Protection duration: up to 3 weeks.

Last application interval (days before harvest): vegetables – 20, apple trees – 35.
