Tatran Dill is a mid-season variety with abundant foliage and a strong aroma. The growing period is 40–45 days until harvest for greens and 90–100 days until harvest for seasoning. The plant forms a robust rosette 100–120 cm tall with large, dark green, lacy leaves. The leaves are succulent, aromatic, and stay fresh for a long time after cutting.
The variety is distinguished by high yield, a long harvesting period, and resistance to lodging. Tatran dill is used for fresh consumption, in salads, soups, and side dishes, as well as for pickling, canning, drying, and freezing. Thanks to its rich aroma and delicate flavor, the greens are prized in home cooking and for winter storage.
