The Danko Polka pumpkin is a mid-early bush-type variety that combines compactness with high yield. The growing season lasts 90–100 days. The plant forms neat bushes, convenient for growing even in small plots. The fruits are round-flattened, weighing 2–4 kg, with a dense light-orange rind. The flesh is deep orange, thick, very sweet, juicy, and high in carotene.
The variety is distinguished by uniform ripening, stable yields, and good storage life—the fruits can be stored for several months without losing their flavor. The Danko Polka pumpkin is suitable for making porridges, soups, purees, desserts, baby food, and juices.
