"MARY HELEN" Marigolds
An annual, tall, robust, and branched plant, 70–80 cm tall, with upright lateral stems. The flower heads are large, double, on long, sturdy stems, 5–7 cm in diameter, and lemon-yellow in color. Very heat-loving, susceptible to frost, light-loving, but can grow in light shade; undemanding. Grown from seedlings. Seeds for seedlings are sown in late March–early April. Used to create vibrant group plantings in flower beds and for cut flowers.
Plants require watering, weeding, loosening the soil, and fertilizing.
This marigold variety is distinguished by its tall stature, large yellow flowers, and suitability for use in flower beds or for cutting.
