Alaska Marigolds
Annual plant. Bushes 50–60 cm tall with upright lateral shoots. Inflorescences are large double flower heads, 6–7 cm in diameter, on long, sturdy, cream-white flower stalks. Grown by sowing seeds directly into open ground in May–June or, for earlier flowering, from seedlings in April.
Blooms from summer until the first frost. Used to create screens and cut flowers in flower beds, borders, and for cut arrangements. Plants require watering, weeding, loosening the soil, and fertilizing.
