Foxtail Amaranth is an ornamental annual variety with unusual flower clusters that resemble long, fluffy tails. The plants, 80–100 cm tall, form sturdy stems with large green leaves, adorned with drooping inflorescences 20–30 cm long in a rich red color. Thanks to its exotic appearance, this variety creates striking accents in the garden.
Amaranth is undemanding, grows well in sunny areas with light, fertile soil, and is resistant to drought and heat. It blooms from July to September. Foxtail Amaranth is suitable for landscaping flower beds, mixed borders, and garden arrangements, and is also used in floristry—in both fresh and dried bouquets, where it retains its shape and vibrant color.
