Fodder beet "Ursus Poly" - a mid-late, high-yielding variety; 110–115 days from full emergence to market maturity. The root is white. A heat-tolerant variety.
SOWING: Sow seeds directly into the ground in the second half of May (soil temperature 6–8°C). Plant seeds 2–4 cm deep, with a spacing of 25–30 x 10 cm. Roll the soil after sowing. Sow in unshaded areas. Beets respond well to the application of potash fertilizers and ash. Sowing is possible both in early spring and in summer. On heavy soils, they are grown in raised beds.
CARE: Loosen the soil between rows, weed, and thin out seedlings. Water the beets depending on weather conditions; during droughts, water 5–6 times, but they do not tolerate waterlogging.
