Belvijski Sorrel, 10 g - an early-maturing variety. The rosette is raised and spreading. Leaves are ovate, light green, with smooth or slightly wavy edges. Leaf blade length is 14 cm, width 7 cm. Marketable yield is 1.8–7.3 kg/m². Value of the variety: resistant to bolting, winter-hardy.
Cultivation
Sorrel is a cold-tolerant and frost-hardy plant; it overwinters well without shelter and sprouts early in the spring. Seeds begin to germinate at +1°C, and growth is most active at 15–23°C. Pre-soaked seeds are sown in single rows with 30 cm row spacing. The seeding rate is 1 g per 1 m². Standard care includes loosening the soil, weeding, watering, fertilizing, and removing flower stalks. Fertilization is carried out after leaf pruning (15–20 g/m² of ammonium nitrate and 10 g/m² of potassium chloride). Over the summer, the leaves mature 3 to 5 times at intervals of 2–2.5 weeks.
