May Queen Head Lettuce is an early-maturing, high-yielding variety with juicy, sweet, and buttery leaves. The growing period from germination to market maturity is 30–50 days. It forms a large rosette of yellow-green, bubbly leaves, weighing 130–326 g. The leaves are very tasty, juicy, buttery, crisp, sweet in flavor, and completely free of bitterness. The variety has increased resistance to sunlight and high temperatures. The variety is disease-resistant.
To ensure a continuous supply of fresh greens, it is recommended to sow seeds every 10–15 days. It is grown in open ground and under plastic coverings. Used in home cooking for fresh salads, vegetable appetizers, and as a garnish for meat and fish dishes.
