Daikon Radish - a mid-season variety; the growing season from germination to market maturity is 70-100 days. The root is white with light green pigmentation, elongated-cylindrical and smooth in shape, half-buried in the soil, 22–35 cm long, and 5–8 cm in diameter. Weight: 100–400 g. The flesh is white, tender, firm, very juicy, and sweet. Excellent taste. Yield is 5–7 kg/m2. Grown in open fields or under cover in greenhouses. Used fresh, cooked, or canned for long-term storage.
