Cinnamon Basil

A new, early-maturing variety with a pleasant cinnamon aroma.
The period from full germination to the start of harvestability is 28–32 days.

High yield of greens, 2.8–3.0 kg/m².

The plant is compact and semi-spreading. The leaves are medium-sized, olive-green with purple veins, aromatic, and have a distinct cinnamon flavor.

Height: 50–60 cm. Weight of a single plant: 300–400 g.

Recommended for use fresh or dried as a flavorful seasoning in vitamin-rich salads, hot dishes, and for canning.

The plant is very light- and heat-loving and cannot tolerate frost. It is best to grow it in a protected greenhouse or in a sunny, windless spot in open ground from 30–35-day-old seedlings.

Harvesting: Harvest at the beginning of flowering in dry weather. During the first harvest, leave the leaves on the lower part of the plant so it can produce new shoots again.

Planting: Grown from seedlings. Sow seeds in late March–early April to a depth of 0.5–1 cm. Transplant to a greenhouse in late May, and to the ground in early June after the last frost has passed. Planting spacing: 30x10 cm.
