F1 Mladshiy Leitenant — a high-yielding, early-maturing, parthenocarpic, cluster-type gherkin hybrid with female flowering for open-field and protected cultivation.

Characteristics:
- Characterized by vigorous growth, abundant fruit set, and good lateral shoot development combined with a second type of self-regulating branching.
- Each node produces 2–3 to 5–7 or more fruit set.
- There are so many fruit set on the plant that the hybrid can be grown for harvesting and preserving micro-pikuli (3–5-day-old fruit set 3–5 cm long).
- The fruits are bright green, bumpy, with white spines, 9–12 cm long, and have crisp flesh.
- The frequency of bumps is average.
- High quality for pickling, taste, and canning.

Features: The hybrid is resistant to powdery mildew, olive spot, and common cucumber mosaic virus, and is tolerant to downy mildew.
