F1 Cucumber "Calendar" — an early-maturing parthenocarpic gherkin hybrid of the "Balcony" type, with female or predominantly female flowering and clustered ovary arrangement at the nodes. Intended for cultivation in the spring-summer season on balconies, loggias, verandas, and in open and protected ground. Branching is moderate. Internodes on the main vine and side shoots are short. Leaves are small. Each node produces 2–3 to 5–6 or more ovaries; clustering is more pronounced on the lateral shoots than on the main stem. The fruits are oval-fusiform in shape, stalkless, deep green in color with medium-length light-colored longitudinal stripes. The fruits are short, 8–10 cm long, 3.0–3.5 cm in diameter, weighing 80–90 g, with a glossy surface. The density of the bumps is average, and the bumps are of medium size. Good flavor and pickling qualities. The hybrid is resistant to olive spot, common cucumber mosaic virus, and powdery mildew, and is tolerant to downy mildew.
Planting density in greenhouses is 2.5 plants/m², in open ground 3–5 plants/m².
