Cucumber F1 Estafeta - a high-yielding, mid-season, bee-pollinated hybrid with predominantly female flowering. Developed by LLC “Manul Breeding and Seed Production Firm” at the V. I. Edelstein Vegetable Experimental Station of the Moscow State Agricultural Academy. Branching ranges from light to moderate. Begins fruiting 53–66 days after germination. Fruit pods are 15–20 cm long, with white, compound, sparse pubescence. Yield in winter greenhouses is 25–44 kg/m². It exhibits increased shade tolerance and high adaptability to environmental factors. The hybrid is sensitive to nighttime air temperature. To prevent the appearance of a large number of male flowers (which can occur in the event of elevated nighttime temperatures), the nighttime air temperature should be maintained at 16–17°C for 10–12 days before transplanting the seedlings and for the following 2 weeks after transplanting. The hybrid is resistant to the common cucumber mosaic virus and relatively resistant to root rot.
