Vitamin Carrot - a high-yielding mid-season variety, 110–115 days to full maturity. The root is cylindrical with a blunt end, 17–20 cm long. This variety is valued for its excellent taste and high carotene content. The flesh is orange-red, tender, juicy, and coreless. Yield: 5.6–7 kg/m2. The carrots are used fresh, for processing, juicing, and storage. The crop is cold-hardy. It is not prone to cracking. It contains an elevated amount of carotene—up to 28 mg/%. In moist soil, seedlings emerge on the 20th–21st day after sowing.
