Vita Longa Carrots - a mid-season variety; the growing season from sowing to root maturity is 110–115 days. The roots are a vivid orange color, long, thick, conical in shape, with a slightly ribbed surface. The weight of mature roots ranges from 130 to 210 g. The flesh and core are orange. Yield is 4.5–6.8 kg/m². Yield growth is rapid from early September through October. The carrots are resistant to rot during storage. Vita Longa carrots are prized for their excellent flavor, high juiciness, and balanced carotene and carbohydrate content. They are used for juicing and winter storage.
