Shantane Red Carrot - a mid-season, very high-yielding variety of the Shantane type. It has excellent taste and high marketability. Strong, healthy foliage. The roots are uniform, short (11–16 cm), conical, and well-formed at the tip. The flesh is juicy. Very high content of carotene and sugars, almost no bitterness; does not accumulate nitrates when fertilizer balance is maintained. Root crops reach maximum yield on days 78–86 of the growing season. Suitable for fresh consumption and processing. The variety is resistant to bolting and is suitable for winter and early sowing. For storage, late sowing is recommended. The seeding rate for early production is 1–1.2 kg/ha, and for a high-yield harvest, up to 1.5 kg/ha.
