Berlikumer Carrot – late-maturing – 140–150 days. It has a smooth, cylindrical root, 16–19 cm long, with a small core, weighing 220–250 g. The flesh is orange-red. Excellent flavor, stores well until spring. Yield: 5–8 kg/m². Used fresh, for processing, and for winter storage. The crop is cold-hardy and moisture-loving. Sown in early spring and before winter. Resistant to bolting. Produces a stable yield. Has a high carotene content. Stores well. When sown in moist soil, seedlings emerge on the 20th–21st day after sowing.
