Artek Carrot Seeds, 20 g

"Artek" carrot seeds - an early, high-yielding, cold-tolerant variety that matures in 65–85 days, with bunched carrots ready for harvest 52 days after sowing. The roots are orange-red, reaching 15 cm in length and 4 cm in diameter. The carrots are conical in shape with a blunt tip. Yield: 4.2–6.7 kg/m². Early carrots are often used in various dishes or eaten fresh. The variety is valued for its excellent flavor and good storage life. Seeds are sown before winter (before the soil freezes), in early spring, and in summer. For winter storage, it is best to sow between May 15 and 25. High yields are obtained on light loam or sandy loam soils with a deep plow layer and moderate moisture. Seeds germinate at +4 °C; seedlings tolerate temperatures down to -2 °C. The seeding rate is 20 seeds per 1 m², with a planting depth of 2 cm. Seeding rate per 1 m² — 0.4–0.6 g. Row spacing is 45 cm.
