DANKO Leek is an early-maturing variety with a growing season of 130–150 days.
The plant forms long, flat green leaves and a thickened pseudostem 19–23 cm long and about 2.5 cm in diameter. It accumulates high levels of vitamin C during storage.
Variety characteristics: winter-hardy, cold-tolerant, high in vitamins; resistant to major diseases, relatively tolerant to downy mildew.
Uses: ideal for fresh consumption—salads, soups, appetizers.
Cultivation: requires regular watering, weeding, soil loosening, and fertilization.
