Karentan Leek – a mid-season leek variety with high yields and a delicate flavor. The growing season lasts 120–140 days. The plant develops robust dark green foliage and a thick, bleached stem 20–25 cm long. The flesh is juicy, tender, and has a pleasant sweet aftertaste.
The variety is noted for its hardiness, resistance to low temperatures, and long harvesting period. Carentan leeks are used fresh, in soups, salads, side dishes, and for freezing.
