Bulgarian Giant Onion – a mid-season, high-yielding variety with large, sweet bulbs. The growing season lasts 120–130 days. The plant produces uniform bulbs weighing 250–400 g, light golden in color with a thin skin. The flesh is tender, juicy, with a pleasant sweet taste and almost no bitterness.
The variety is noted for its stable yield, resistance to bolting, and good marketability. Bulgarian Giant onions are excellent for fresh consumption, preparing salads, cooking dishes, and short-term storage. Thanks to their large, sweet bulbs, they are especially valued for home use.
