White Ball Onion - a mid-season variety. The growing season until bulb maturity is 85–98 days. The bulbs are round in shape, weighing 50–60 g. The juicy scales are semi-sharp in taste and fleshy. Matures well. Used for early harvest, consumed fresh. A variety intended for salads.
Cold-hardy, moisture-loving crop. Seeds germinate at t=+3–5 °C and are therefore sown in early spring. In the 1–2 cotyledon stage, seedlings can withstand frosts down to –3–5 °C.
Sowing rate: 10 kg/ha or 1 g per 1 m². Row spacing: 45 cm; planting depth: 2 cm.
