Delikatesnaya Corn - a mid-early variety of sweet corn; ears reach maturity 68–70 days after emergence. The plant is medium-sized, 140–160 cm tall. The cob is cone-shaped, 21–26 cm long, weighing 235 g, with bright yellow kernels. Yield: 1.1–1.3 kg/m². The juicy and sweet kernels have excellent flavor and contain 4–6% sugar, 5.5% protein, and 37.8% dry matter. The variety is disease-resistant and undemanding in terms of care. The weight of 1,000 kernels is 230–240 grams. The variety is versatile. When harvested at the milk stage, it is used for boiling and canning. Delikatessnaya corn produces delicious boiled, canned, and frozen products.
Optimal plant density before harvest: 45–50 thousand plants/ha.
To obtain fresh ears throughout the entire summer season, Delikatessnaya sweet corn seeds must be sown 3–4 times at 10–15-day intervals.
