Snow White Cabbage Seeds, 4 g

Snow White cabbage is a late-maturing variety; heads reach maturity 115–125 days after transplanting seedlings. Heads are round, round-flat, and short-oval. They are greenish-white, dense, do not crack, and weigh 2.3–4 kg. Used fresh and for pickling. Suitable for winter storage.

Cultivation: Sow seeds for seedlings starting April 10, 40–45 days before transplanting to the open ground. Seeds can also be sown directly into the open ground under plastic mulch (April 20–25). Transplant seedlings to the open ground by May 30. Plant seedlings to the first true leaf, without covering the apical bud, at a spacing of 60 x 60 cm. The best soils for growth are well-cultivated neutral or slightly acidic soils; it does not tolerate sandy or waterlogged soils. The best preceding crops are cucumbers, peas, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, beets, and horseradish. Harvesting takes place in October–early November.
