Aspirant Zucchini - an early-maturing zucchini variety with a growing season of up to 40 days and uniform fruit ripening; the fruits must be picked in a timely manner to allow for the formation of new ovaries.
It has a compact, bushy growth habit and does not require special care during cultivation. "Aspirant" zucchini fruits contain 7.5 mg of vitamin C and up to 3% sugar, making this variety particularly valuable for dietary nutrition. The maximum weight of the zucchini is 800 grams. The fruits have thin, pale green skin. This zucchini variety is disease-resistant, particularly to powdery mildew.
When the zucchini reach a length of 17 cm, they are harvested, and the harvesting process is carried out regularly.
Seeds of this crop are sown in warmed soil at a temperature of 10–12°C to a depth of up to 6 cm, with two or three seeds in each hole. They are not affected by the threat of a brief drop in temperature, which is not uncommon in the spring. After the seedlings emerge, the zucchini shoots must be thinned, leaving two shoots per hole. Caring for zucchini involves weeding and thorough loosening of the soil.
