Telephone Peas – a mid-late, tall-growing sugar-type variety with abundant fruiting. The growing season lasts 75–85 days. The plant is a climbing vine, 120–150 cm tall, and requires support. The pods are large, 10–12 cm long, and contain 8–10 large, sweet, green peas. The peas are juicy, tender, and have a pleasant sweet taste.
The variety is distinguished by high yield, a long harvesting period, and resistance to major diseases. The "Telefon" pea is suitable for fresh consumption, making soups and side dishes, as well as for freezing and canning. Thanks to the large size of the pods and rich flavor, it is one of the most valuable varieties for home gardening.
