Muzio is an early pea variety with a growing season of 65–68 days. The variety is intended for cultivation in open ground. It is characterized by tolerance to root rot and heat resistance. It forms plants 65 cm tall, each bearing 14–15 pods with 9 large dark green seeds. The peas are recommended for fresh consumption, canning, and processing.

Cultivation characteristics

The cultivation technology for the Mucio variety is straightforward. For sowing the seeds of this crop, fertile soils rich in organic matter should be preferred. The planting pattern for peas can vary: in rows or in a strip method. When planting in 1–2 rows, the row spacing should be 15–20 cm, and seeds should be spaced 5–12 cm apart. The planting depth is 2–3 cm in heavy soils and 6 cm in light soils. When planting peas in a garden bed, it is advisable to use the row-planting method, which involves a spacing of 15–20 cm within the row, and 50 cm between rows. After seedlings emerge, plant care involves regular watering and systematic harvesting (every 3–4 days)
