"Leya" peas are an early-maturing shelling variety with high yields and excellent processing qualities. The growing season lasts up to 50 days. The peas have a tender texture and a sweet taste. Suitable for freezing and canning. The "Leya" pea variety is a wonderful source of vitamins for a healthy diet. It is also used as a side dish for meat dishes and in soups.
Seed weight per package: 20 g.
By following crop rotation, you can achieve a high pea yield if you plant them after potatoes, cabbage, or tomatoes; however, if you plant pea seeds after clover or beans, you may not get a harvest. It is important to know that if you have a young orchard, you can sow pea seeds in the rows between the saplings; in this case, a high yield is guaranteed. In addition, the above-ground parts of the peas are dug into the soil after harvest and serve as excellent fertilizer for the young orchard.
