Grundi is a green pea variety with a growing season of 70 days. The hybrid is intended for cultivation in open ground.It produces long pods, each containing 10 large, uniform dark-green peas. The peas have a delicate sweet taste, stay fresh for a long time, and are easily separated from the pod. The peas are recommended for fresh consumption, canning, and processing.

Cultivation Characteristics

Peas are cold-tolerant crops; their seeds can germinate at temperatures of 1–2 °C, so you can start sowing peas in open ground in early spring, as soon as the weather permits.It is advisable to sow peas in rows or in a strip, having previously installed a trellis or any other suitable support along the rows. It is not uncommon to sow peas along fences and hedges for subsequent vertical support of the plants. Caring for this legume involves several essential agricultural practices, the main one being regular watering with sufficient water. Watering should not be neglected, as a lack of moisture can negatively affect the quality of the peas. For the same reasons, the crop must also be harvested regularly (every 3–4 days).
