The "Fora" vegetable pea is a mid-late variety, ready for harvest 71 days after planting. The plant grows up to 90 cm tall, with pods up to 10 cm long; each bush yields up to 12 pods. The pods are large and sabre-shaped. This is an indeterminate plant type with short internodes; it is cold-tolerant, ripens uniformly, and yields up to 1.0 kg of peas per square meter. Given the cold hardiness of peas, seeds can be sown as soon as the soil warms to 4 °C, but the optimal temperature for germination is +18 °C.
The variety has received good reviews. Caring for the plants is simple: like many crops, it thrives in moisture, especially during flowering and pod formation. Resistant to diseases and pests. Peas are used for preserving, freezing, and canning for the winter, but are especially loved by everyone when fresh.
