Hilda Asparagus Bean - an early-maturing variety with a growing season of 48–54 days and seed maturity of 85–88 days. The plant is a bush type, 40–50 cm tall, sturdy, and does not require staking. The pods are purple, up to 19 cm long, with 10–12 pods per plant. The seeds are light brown. Yield of pods is 1.4–1.9 kg/m2, and seed yield is 0.3–0.4 kg/m2. Good flavor. Used boiled, fried, and canned, in home cooking, as well as in the production of canned vegetables.
