Tsakoniki Eggplant – a mid-early Greek variety with unique fruit coloring. The growing season lasts 100–110 days. The plant is compact, 60–80 cm tall, forming sturdy bushes with a large number of fruit set. The fruits are elongated-cylindrical, 18–22 cm long, weighing 200–300 g. The skin is light purple with characteristic white stripes. The flesh is white, firm, without bitterness, and has a delicate flavor.
The variety is noted for its stable yield, decorative fruit appearance, and resistance to major diseases. The Tsakoniki eggplant is widely used in cooking: for frying, stewing, baking, stuffing, and canning.
