Crimson Sweet Watermelon - a popular, high-yielding sweet variety. Mid-early maturity (60-70 days, depending on the growing region). The plant has medium-sized vines. Fruits are round-oval, striped, weighing 7 to 12 kg. The flesh is bright red, crisp, sweet, and has a fine texture. Yield is 5.5–6.5 kg/m². Transportable. Used fresh.
Suitable for growing in open ground and under plastic film. Produces a stable yield even in arid conditions. Tolerates transport very well. Seeds are small. Resistant to fusarium wilt.
Agricultural practices: Watermelon is a light- and heat-loving crop. In the central region, seeds are soaked and germinated in the second half of April or in May. They are sown to a depth of 3–4 cm. 25–30-day-old seedlings are transplanted in late May or early June, once the danger of late spring frosts has passed. Seedlings are not pinched. Planting pattern: 170–200 x 50–70 cm. When sowing directly into the ground, the soil should warm to 12–15 degrees. Seedlings emerge 8–9 days after sowing.
