The Karnakata F1 watermelon is a very early-maturing watermelon hybrid. The fruits are large, round in shape, weighing 10 kg or more, with crisp, fine-textured flesh of a bright, deep red color and a high (12%) sugar content. The seeds are small and dark brown. The rind is firm and of optimal thickness, allowing the fruit to be transported long distances without loss of quality.
