Regent is a contact, stomach, and systemic insecticide used to treat vegetable and fruit and berry crops to control a range of surface and soil pests. The active ingredient in the formulation—fipronil—disrupts the nervous system of pests, resulting in the death of insects from paralysis 8 hours after the insecticide enters the body. The Regent insecticide is effectively used in agriculture to protect potatoes, tomatoes, cabbage, beets, peppers, apple trees, pear trees, raspberries, wheat, currants, and ornamental crops from the cabbage root fly, Colorado potato beetle, locusts, wireworms, May beetle larvae, ground beetle larvae, leaf-eating caterpillars, and other crop pests, as well as for the control of synanthropic insects: cockroaches, all types of ants, fleas, and mites.

The contents of a 12.5 ml ampoule are intended for dilution in 20 liters of water. When preparing tank mixtures, Regent is compatible with many pesticide groups and fertilizers. Application rate of Regent for root drench: 6 ml per 10 liters of water. |
