Mode of action
Clothianidin has pronounced systemic properties, is easily absorbed by the root system and the above-ground parts of plants, and is not washed off by rain. Within an hour, the substance penetrates all parts of the plants and protects even untreated areas. Thus, young shoots that appear after spraying are also protected. Adult Colorado potato beetles and their larvae begin to die within 15–20 minutes, either through direct contact with the working solution or by feeding on treated plants. Complete pest mortality occurs within 1.5–2 hours.
Lambda-cyhalothrin is one of the most effective active ingredients for protecting against sucking and leaf-feeding pests, including aphids, beetles, and caterpillars on barley, cotton, potatoes, vegetable and fruit crops, winter rapeseed, alfalfa, and rice. It has contact, stomach, and residual action, as well as repellent properties. It quickly penetrates the insect’s cuticle and affects its nervous system, which within a few minutes leads to cessation of feeding activity, a paralyzing effect, and the death of the pest within 24 hours. It is stable and not washed off by rain.
Recommendations for use
Dilute the required amount of "Presto" according to the rates specified in the table. Use the working solution on the day of preparation. Apply with a sprayer in calm, dry weather (in the morning or evening), at air temperatures up to +25°C, evenly covering the plants with the working solution.
Safety
Interval between last application and harvest: fruit and berry crops – 45 days, grain and melon crops – 30 days, open-field vegetables – 20 days, greenhouse vegetables – 5 days.
While working, use personal protective equipment; do not eat, drink, or smoke. Avoid inhaling aerosol vapors and contact with skin and eyes. After finishing work, wash hands and face with soap.
If the insecticide accidentally comes into contact with your hands, eyes, lips, or tongue, immediately rinse the affected areas with plenty of water; if necessary, consult a doctor and show them the "Presto" packaging.
Spilled insecticide and empty containers must be disposed of in a designated area; do not pour remaining product into the sewer system or water bodies.
Storage
“Presto” must be stored in its original, unopened packaging, out of the reach of children, separate from food and medicines, at a temperature between 0°C and +30°C.
Shelf life: 4 years from the date of manufacture.
