Full description
A universal pre-emergence herbicide used to protect crops from weeds during their early growth stage. Suitable for use on crops such as: carrots, sunflowers, corn, soybeans, beans, potatoes, cilantro, garlic, parsley, dill. The active ingredient "promethrin" is absorbed by weeds through their leaves, destroying their roots, which causes the above-ground parts to wither and prevents the emergence of new weed shoots. The herbicide’s protective effect lasts for 8–10 weeks after application. This duration depends on many factors and conditions of use: the moisture content of the topsoil, the uniformity of the working solution’s distribution, and the timing of crop emergence.

Formulation: suspension concentrate
Active ingredient content: promytrin, 500 g/L
WHO classification: Class III (low toxicity)

Properties and advantages:

  • Positive Plus, with its liquid formulation, is easy to use.
  • Effective control and broad spectrum of activity against annual dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds.
  • Maximum effectiveness in weed control.
  • Applicable to a range of industrial and vegetable crops.
  • Long-lasting residual activity of 2.5 months, depending on application rate and soil and climatic conditions.
  • Ideal component for tank mixes with soil-applied broadleaf herbicides, including acetochlor and metolachlor.
  • Used to control the stubborn weed cleavers.

Consumer Notice! To avoid risks to humans and the environment, follow the INSTRUCTIONS for use:

Crop Weed type Application rate
Carrots* Annual dicotyledonous and grass weeds 15–30 mL per 2–4 L of water per 100 m² of soil, applied before crop emergence or when 1–2 true leaves are present
Sunflower 20–40 mL per 2.5–4 L of water per 100 m² of soil, applied before crop emergence
Corn* 20–35 ml per 2–4 L of water per 100 m² of soil, applied before crop emergence
Soybeans, beans* 20–35 mL per 2–4 L of water per 100 m² of soil spray (maximum every 2–3 days) before crop emergence
Potatoes* 30–40 ml per 2–4 L of water per 100 m² of soil spray (maximum 2–3 days) before crop emergence
Coriander* 30–40 ml per 2–4 L of water per 100 m² of soil spray before crop emergence
Garlic, parsley, dill* 15–25 mL per 2.5–4 L of water per 100 m² for soil spraying before crop emergence

*Global usage practice

Duration of protective action: the herbicide’s protective effect lasts for 8–10 weeks from the time of application. This duration depends on many factors and conditions of application: the moisture content of the topsoil, the uniformity of the spray application, and the timing of crop emergence.

Mode of action: The product is absorbed by both the seedlings and the roots of weeds when applied to emerging crops. The active ingredient, promethrin, blocks the process of photosynthesis in the plant.

Product compatibility: Compatible with commonly used herbicides, provided testing is conducted.
